Andrew Woolston (Kent, ENG) finished 2-5 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Woolston lost 9-6 to Gabor Riesz (Budapest, HUN), then responded with a 6-5 win over Belgium's Timothy Verreycken. Woolston went on to lose 5-3 against Aku Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Woolston lost 3-2 to Kevin Golberg (Jerusalem, ISR) where Woolston responded with a 7-6 win over Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST). Woolston went on to lose 9-6 against Sergio Vez (Donostia-San Sebastian, ESP). Woolston lost 6-3 to Karlis Smilga (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.

Woolston earned 1.425 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 73 spots the World Ranking Standings into 408th place overall with 2.08 total points. Woolston ranks 271st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.425 points earned so far this season.
