Skaslien went on to lose 9-2 against Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Skaslien responded with a 8-6 win over Marianne Neeleman (Zoetermeer, NED). Skaslien won 11-2 against Marta Szeliga-Frynia (Lodz, POL), then won 11-7 against Marie Turmann (Tallinn, EST) and 8-7 against Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
The berth into the first round of the Le Gruyere European Curling Championships playoffs earned Skaslien 7.781 world rankings points, moving up 52 spots the World Ranking Standings into 187th place overall with 8.918 total points.
