Bitz finished 3-0 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bitz defeated Ryan Armstrong (Lashburn, SK) 7-0, then won 9-2 against Mark Walter (Estevan, SK) and 6-3 against Shane Vollman (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Estevan Power Dodge Curling Classic Championship title, Bitz earned 14.062 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 24 spots the World Ranking Standings into 106th place overall with 45.711 total points.
