Jason Jacobson (Saskatoon, SK) qualified for the 2017 Estevan Power Dodge Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-1 against Ryan Deis (Fox Valley, SK). of the 2017 Estevan Power Dodge Curling Classic in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Jacobson finished 3-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobson defeated Jeff Chambers (Swift Current, SK) 6-2, then went on to lose 8-2 against Brent Gedak (Estevan, SK). Jacobson responded with a 7-5 win over Mitchell Dales (Saskatoon, SK). Jacobson won 6-4 against Jason Ackerman (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Jacobson earned 6.027 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Estevan Power Dodge Curling Classic, remaining in 83rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 68.294 total points. Jacobson ranks 85th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 32.984 points earned so far this season.
