Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC) finished 2-3 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pewarchuk lost 9-8 to Randi Ludwar (Kelowna, BC), droppimg another game, 10-8 to Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC) where Pewarchuk responded with a 8-5 win over Jill Winters (Nelson, BC). Pewarchuk won 9-8 against Patti Knezevic (Prince George, BC). Pewarchuk went on to lose 9-6 against Van Osch in their final qualifying round match.

Pewarchuk earned 0.713 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Pewarchuk did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Pewarchuk ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
