Sherrer won 8-1 against Holly Scott (Edmonton, AB), then won 8-3 against Kristen Streifel (Edmonton, AB) and 11-5 against Makichuk in their final qualifying round match.

Sherrer earned 10.453 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Alberta Scotties - Northerns.
