Froud lost 10-5 to Erin Macaulay (Ottawa, ON) where Froud responded with a 5-4 win over Erin Morrissey (Ottawa, ON). Froud won 7-4 against Ashley Waye (Toroton, ON), then won 6-3 against Macaulay. Froud went on to lose 3-2 against Marshall in their final qualifying round match.

Froud earned 1.275 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 63rd place overall with 86.645 total points. Froud ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 79.529 points earned so far this season.
