Brent Gray (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) finished 2-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gray lost 6-5 to Brent Ross (Harriston, ON), droppimg another game, 9-6 to Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) where Gray responded with a 11-7 win over Ryan Brown (Georgetown, ON). Gray won 9-3 against Damien Villard (Cambrige, ON). Gray went on to lose 9-2 against Ferris in their final qualifying round match.

Gray earned 1.050 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Gray did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gray ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
