Ryan won 8-7 against Zachary Wasylik (Morris, MB), then won 5-3 against Carter Watkins (Winnipeg, MB) and 10-4 against Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB). Ryan won 7-3 against Hayden Forrester (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
