Emma Wallingford (Ottawa, ON) won 7-6 over Jestyn Murphy (Mississauga, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Junior Womens Provincials, held December 27 - 30, 2017 at the Annandale Curling Club in Ajax, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Wallingford won 8-4 over Marie-Elaine Little (Ottawa, ON) in the semifinals of the 2018 Ontario Junior Womens Provincials in Ajax, Ontario, Canada;
 
Wallingford finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wallingford defeated Maddy Warriner (Listowel, ON) 6-5, then won 7-5 against Courtney Auld (Toronto, ON) and 10-4 against Mackenzie Kiemele (Toronto, ON). Wallingford won 6-5 against Rachel Steele (Port Perry, ON). Wallingford went on to lose 7-6 against Breanna Rozon (Dundas, ON). Wallingford responded with a 7-4 win over Little. Wallingford went on to lose 5-3 against Murphy in their final qualifying round match.
