In their opening game, Kleiter defeated Carson Ackerman (Saskatoon, SK) 5-2, then won 9-2 against Brett Behm (Moose Jaw, SK) and 9-3 against Cody Sutherland (Maidstone, SK). Kleiter won 9-1 against Mitchell Dales (Regina, SK), then won 12-5 against Austin Williamson (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
