Chaelynn Kitz (Saskatoon, SK) lost 8-4 to Sara England (Regina, SK) in the Final of the Saskatchewan Jiffy Lube Junior Womens Provincials, held December 27 - 31, 2017 at the Caledonian Curling Club in Regina, Canada.
 
Kitz finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kitz defeated Skylar Ackerman (Moose Jaw, SK) 6-5, then won 10-3 against Emily Haupstein (Weyburn, SK) and 11-4 against Briana Beattie (Regina, SK). Kitz won 5-3 against Rachel Erickson (Regina, SK). Kitz went on to lose 8-2 against Hanna Anderson (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 21 of the event schedule, Kitz did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kitz ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
