In their opening game, Ryan defeated Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS) 7-2, then won 7-2 against Liam Marin (Saint John, NB) and 7-4 against Alek Bedard (Lacolle, QC). Ryan won 5-3 against Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK), then won 10-2 against Joe Wallingham (Whitehorse, YK). Ryan went on to lose 5-4 against Tardi. Ryan lost 6-4 to Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) where Ryan responded with a 7-6 win over Daniel Bruce (Corner Brook, NL). Ryan won 10-5 against Matthew Hall (Kitcher-Waterloo, ON). Ryan went on to lose 6-5 against Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
