Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS) finished 6-4 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Manuel lost 7-2 to JT Ryan (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 5-2 win over Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Manuel lost 8-6 to Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) where Manuel responded with a 7-6 win over Daniel Bruce (Corner Brook, NL). Manuel won 7-4 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT), then won 6-3 against Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). Manuel went on to lose 11-4 against Matthew Hall (Kitcher-Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Manuel earned 3.573 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Manuel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Manuel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
