Joe Wallingham (Whitehorse, YK) finished 3-6 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wallingham lost 7-5 to Alek Bedard (Lacolle, QC), droppimg another game, 8-4 to Liam Marin (Saint John, NB). Wallingham lost 7-4 to Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS). Wallingham lost 12-4 to Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Wallingham lost 10-2 to JT Ryan (Winnipeg, MB) where Wallingham responded with a 6-4 win over Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). Wallingham went on to lose 9-5 against Alex MacFadyen (Summerside, PEI). Wallingham responded with a 10-2 win over Sawer Kaeser (Fort Smith, NT). Wallingham won 7-5 against Javen Komaksiutiksak (Iqaluit, NU) in their final qualifying round match.

Wallingham earned 1.786 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Wallingham did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wallingham ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
