Tyler Tardi (Langley, CAN) finished 7-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tardi defeated Jan Hess (Zug, SUI) 7-3, then won 7-3 against Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE). Tardi went on to lose 6-5 against Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO). Tardi responded with a 4-2 win over Andrew Stopera (Blaine, USA). Tardi went on to lose 7-5 against Zhi Yu Wang (Harbin, CHN). Tardi responded with a 8-7 win over Magnus Ramsfjell (Jar, NOR). Tardi won 10-3 against Hyeonjun Hwang (Chuncheon, KOR), then won 7-5 against Aleksandr Bystrov (Moscow, RUS) and 4-2 against Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the World Junior Mens Curling Championship Championship title, Tardi earned 20.748 world rankings points. For week 31 of the event schedule, Tardi did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tardi ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
