Magnusson went on to lose 11-4 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Jar, NOR). Magnusson lost 7-5 to Andrew Stopera (Blaine, USA). Magnusson lost 9-7 to Hyeonjun Hwang (Chuncheon, KOR) where Magnusson responded with a 9-7 win over Aleksandr Bystrov (Moscow, RUS). Magnusson went on to lose 8-7 against Sixten Totzek (Fuessen, GER). Magnusson lost 7-3 to Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Magnusson earned 1.334 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Magnusson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Magnusson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
