Antoine Provencher (Laval-sur-le-Lac, QC) lost 14-6 to Alek Bedard (Lacolle, QC) in the Final of the Quebec Performance Brush Junior Mens Provincials, held December 27 - 31, 2017 at the Boucherville Curling Club in Boucherville, Canada.
 
Provencher finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Provencher defeated Samuel Roberge (Levis, QC) 9-8, then won 8-4 against Vincent Roberge (Levis, QC) and 10-6 against Thomas Lo (Montreal, QC). Provencher went on to lose 8-4 against Bedard. Provencher responded with a 8-2 win over Jerome Adam (Val d'Or, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 21 of the event schedule, Provencher did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Provencher ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
