Stacie Curtis (St. John's , NL) won 7-1 over Heather Strong (St. John's, NL) in the Final of the Newfoundland & Labrador Scotties, held January 2 - 7, 2018 at the Remax Centre in St. John's, . To advance to the championship game, Curtis won 8-1 over Heather Strong (St. John's, NL) in the semifinals of the 2018 Newfoundland & Labrador Scotties in St. John's; and won 7-0 over Mackenzie Glynn (St. John's, NL) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Newfoundland & Labrador Scotties in St. John's;

Curtis finished 5-1 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Curtis defeated Kelli Sharpe (St. John's, NL) 8-3, then won 6-2 against Cindy Miller (St. John's, NL) and 7-5 against Rebecca Roberts (St. John's, NL). Curtis won 7-5 against Beth Hamilton (St. John's, NL). Curtis went on to lose 8-7 against Strong. Curtis responded with a 9-2 win over Glynn in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Newfoundland & Labrador Scotties Championship title, Curtis earned 4.200 world rankings points, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 101st place overall with 44.054 total points. Curtis ranks 87th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.389 points earned so far this season.
