In their opening game, Bernard defeated Megan Smith (Sudbury, NONT) 7-5, then won 7-3 against Kaleigh MacKay (Ottawa, ON) and 7-0 against Breanna Rozon (Toronton, ON). Bernard went on to lose 7-2 against Cora Farrell (Blaine, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
