Thangadurai finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thangadurai defeated Cheldynn Molnar (Strathmore, AB) 6-4, then went on to lose 4-3 against Morrison. Thangadurai responded with a 7-6 win over Vincent. Thangadurai won 7-4 against Kassidy Varga (Calgary, AB). Thangadurai went on to lose 6-4 against Jessica Wytrychowski (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
