Sean Murray (St. Paul, MN) finished 2-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Murray defeated Josh Moore (Mapleton, MN) 6-2, then went on to lose 6-4 against Andrew Stopera (Evanston, IL). Murray responded with a 12-4 win over Brandon Corbett (Rochester, NY). Murray went on to lose 7-4 against Tucker Smith (Bismarck, ND). Murray lost 8-7 to Todd Ussatis (Bismarck, ND) in their final qualifying round match.
