Scott Jones (Moncton, NB) finished 2-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones lost 7-5 to Wayne Tallon (Fredericton, NB), droppimg another game, 9-7 to Marcel Robichaud (Moncton, NB) where Jones responded with a 8-5 win over Jeremy Mallais (Saint John, NB). Jones won 11-2 against Adam MacDonald (Woodstock, NB). Jones went on to lose 7-6 against Charlie Sullivan (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Jones earned 1.330 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Jones did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jones ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
