Terry Odishaw (Moncton, NB) finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Odishaw defeated Zac Blanchard (Saint John, NB) 6-4, then won 9-0 against Wayne Tallon (Fredericton, NB) and 8-2 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the New Brunswick Tankard Prelims Championship title, Odishaw earned 18.620 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Odishaw did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
