In their opening game, Heggestad defeated Brandon Tippin (Owen Sound, ON) 7-1, then won 6-3 against Wayne Tuck Jr. (Brantford, ON) and 7-5 against Gary Grant (Lindsay, ON). Heggestad went on to lose 6-4 against Richard Krell (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Heggestad lost 7-6 to Joe Frans (Oakville, ON). Heggestad lost 1-0 to Tuck Jr. in their final qualifying round match.

Heggestad earned 1.757 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Heggestad did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Heggestad ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
