Grant went on to lose 7-5 against Cory Heggestad (Stroud, ON). Grant lost 8-4 to Spencer Richmond (Ottawa, ON) where Grant responded with a 8-4 win over Steski. Grant went on to lose 7-1 against Wayne Tuck Jr. (Brantford, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Grant earned 1.757 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 23 spots the World Ranking Standings into 280th place overall with 9.596 total points. Grant ranks 210th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.843 points earned so far this season.
