Mark Walter (Lampman, SK) finished 3-3 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walter lost 9-2 to Randy Bryden (Regina, SK), droppimg another game, 9-3 to Ben Gamble (Regina, SK) where Walter responded with a 7-4 win over Reagan Hadden (Gull Lake, SK). Walter won 8-6 against Mike Bryson (Regina, SK), then won 6-4 against Wade St. Onge (Estevan, SK). Walter went on to lose 7-6 against Jason Ackerman (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
