Brady Kendel (Saskatoon, SK) finished 5-1 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kendel defeated Eugene Hritzuk (Saskatoon, SK) 10-6, then won 10-4 against Scott Comfort (Wadena, SK) and 7-6 against Lloyd Fell (North Battleford, SK). Kendel went on to lose 6-1 against Drew Heidt (Unity, SK). Kendel responded with a 10-5 win over Travis Tokarz (Saskatoon, SK). Kendel won 9-3 against Brayden Stewart (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the SaskTel Tankard Northern Qualifier, Kendel take home 8.358 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Kendel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kendel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
