Brad Heidt (Kerrorbert, SK) finished 2-3 in the 19-team qualifying round. . Heidt won 8-2 against Scott Comfort (Wadena, SK). Heidt went on to lose 9-8 against Aaron Shutra (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
