Montgomery won 9-7 against Grant Dezura (Maple Ridge, BC), then won 7-6 against Pierce in their final qualifying round match.

Montgomery earned 9.520 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the belairdirect BC Mens Championship, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 127th place overall with 44.956 total points.
