To advance to the championship game, Meehan won 7-6 over Maureen McMaster (Moncton, NB) in the semifinals of the 2018 New Brunswick Masters Womens Championship in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada;
 
Meehan finished 4-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Meehan lost 7-6 to Connie Bothwell (Fredericton, NB), then responded with a 8-3 win over Debbie MacLoon-Agnew (Fredericton, NB). Meehan won 7-3 against McMaster, then won 10-3 against Marlene Vaughan (Saint John, NB) and 9-3 against Steele. Meehan went on to lose 6-2 against Paulette Girvan (Rexton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
