Bruggmann responded with a 10-9 win over Bjorn Jungen (Adelboden, SUI). Bruggmann won 7-3 against Christian Bangerter (Bern, SUI). Bruggmann went on to lose 8-7 against Lucien Lottenbach (Luzern, SUI). Bruggmann lost 7-6 to Kim-Lloyd Sciboz (Lausanne, SUI). Bruggmann lost 9-2 to Marc Pfister (Adelboden, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
