Jungen went on to lose 10-9 against Rolf Bruggmann (Uzwil, SUI). Jungen lost 6-3 to Jan Hess (Zug, SUI) where Jungen responded with a 10-5 win over Andrin Schnider (St. Gallen, SUI). Jungen went on to lose 8-5 against Joachim Porret (Neuchatel, SUI). Jungen lost 7-6 to Felix Attinger (Dubendorf, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Jungen earned 2.009 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 20 spots the World Ranking Standings into 269th place overall with 11.294 total points. Jungen ranks 209th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.001 points earned so far this season.
