In their opening game, Poplar lost 11-3 to Alex Peasley (Fredericton, NB), droppimg another game, 7-5 to Dylan MacDonald (Saint John, NB) where Poplar responded with a 7-2 win over Hunter Lagace (Grand Falls, NB). Poplar won 7-4 against MacDonald. Poplar went on to lose 10-3 against Tyler Boyle (Oromocto, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
