Jayne Flinn-Burton (Tempe, AZ) 8-6, then won 8-2 against Stephanie Erstad (Laurel, MD) and 7-4 against Christi Freeman-Kirchner (Ardsley, NY). Vorachek went on to lose 9-8 against Miyo Konno (Seattle, WA). Vorachek lost 11-8 to Jamie Kraus (Duluth, MN) where Vorachek responded with a 11-1 win over Lori Karst (Madison, WI). Vorachek won 9-2 against Jennalee Johnson (St. Paul, MN), then won 9-7 against Dawn Findlay (Laurel, MD). Vorachek went on to lose 8-4 against Debbie McCormick (Madison, WI) in their final qualifying round match.
