To advance to the championship game, Pfister won 8-6 over Yves Hess (Zug, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2018 Swiss Curling Championship in Flims, Switzerland;
 
Pfister finished 7-3 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pfister defeated Felix Attinger (Dubendorf, SUI) 5-3, then won 9-5 against Jan Hess (Zug, SUI). Pfister went on to lose 8-7 against Hess. Pfister responded with a 5-4 win over Lucien Lottenbach (Luzern, SUI). Pfister went on to lose 6-4 against Schwaller. Pfister responded with a 4-3 win over Lottenbach. Pfister won 5-2 against Attinger, then won 10-5 against Hess and 7-4 against Hess. Pfister went on to lose 4-2 against Schwaller in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Swiss Curling Championship Championship title, Pfister earned 16.958 world rankings points. Pfister move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 15.781 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 29th overall with 237.25 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Pfister ranks 32nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 114.039 points earned so far this season.
