Schwaller won 6-4 against Pfister, then won 8-3 against Lucien Lottenbach (Luzern, SUI). Schwaller went on to lose 11-9 against Hess. Schwaller responded with a 7-6 win over Hess. Schwaller won 8-7 against Lottenbach, then won 7-1 against Attinger and 4-2 against Pfister in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Curling Championship, Schwaller take home 13.324 world rankings points.
