Stern responded with a 6-5 win over Gertsch. Stern went on to lose 7-6 against Paetz. Stern responded with a 7-6 win over Widmer. Stern went on to lose 7-2 against Hegner in their final qualifying round match.

Stern earned 13.082 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Swiss Curling Championship, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 60th place overall with 103.312 total points. Stern ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.006 points earned so far this season.
