Gertsch went on to lose 6-5 against Stern. Gertsch lost 9-3 to Widmer. Gertsch lost 10-5 to Feltscher. Gertsch lost 9-1 to Hegner in their final qualifying round match.

Gertsch earned 0.770 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 29 spots the World Ranking Standings into 261st place overall with 1.242 total points. Gertsch ranks 247th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.770 points earned so far this season.
