Stuart Taylor (Glawgow, SCO) finished 3-6 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Taylor lost 8-7 to Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) where Taylor responded with a 8-5 win over Fraser Hare (Stranraer, SCO). Taylor went on to lose 6-2 against Cameron Bryce (Borders, SCO). Taylor lost 8-2 to Cameron McNay (Edinburgh, SCO) where Taylor responded with a 10-2 win over Graham Shaw (Perth, SCO). Taylor went on to lose 6-5 against Greg Drummond (Stirling, SCO). Taylor responded with a 6-4 win over Murray Young (Forfar, SCO). Taylor went on to lose 6-4 against Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Taylor earned 3.446 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Taylor did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Taylor ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
