Birr won 8-4 against Tucker Smith (Bismarck, ND), then won 7-5 against Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) and 10-4 against Pete Fenson (Bemidji, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Birr earned 20.470 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Men's National Championship, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 47th place overall with 164.307 total points. Birr ranks 51st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 79.903 points earned so far this season.
