In their opening game, Damen defeated Jared Mason (Delia, AB) 7-3, then went on to lose 8-4 against Lane Schopfer (Chauvin, AB). Damen responded with a 12-2 win over Jared Sokul (St. Albert, AB). Damen won 10-2 against Ryan Kawa (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
