Ryan Kawa (Lethbridge, AB) finished 1-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kawa lost 8-2 to Lane Schopfer (Chauvin, AB), then responded with a 7-4 win over Jared Sokul (St. Albert, AB). Kawa went on to lose 8-4 against Joel MacDonald (Sherwood Park, AB). Kawa lost 10-2 to John Damen (Strathmore, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
