Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) won 4-1 over Veronica Maschmeyer (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the AJCT Players' Championship, held March 16 - 18, 2018 in . To advance to the championship game, Sturmay won 8-2 over Lauren Marks (Leduc, AB) in the semifinals

Sturmay finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sturmay defeated Maschmeyer 6-4, then went on to lose 8-5 against Jessica Wytrychowski (Calgary, AB). Sturmay lost 7-2 to Abby Marks (Edmonton, AB) where Sturmay responded with a 7-2 win over Ryleigh Bakker (Calgary, AB). Sturmay won 8-2 against Wytrychowski in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 32 of the event schedule, Sturmay did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sturmay ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
