Park/Thomas responded with a 11-4 win over Nancy Martin/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Park/Thomas won 8-4 against Sherry Just/Ryan Deis (Saskatoon, SK), then won 12-1 against Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
