In their opening game, Ryan defeated John Willsey (Waterloo, ON) 8-5, then went on to lose 6-4 against Jack Smeltzer (Fredericton, NB). Ryan responded with a 5-4 win over Robert Mayhew (Halifax, NS). Ryan won 9-5 against Eric Bradey (St. Catharines, ON). Ryan went on to lose 7-5 against Alex Champ (Toronto, ON). Ryan lost 4-3 to Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) where Ryan responded with a 6-2 win over Drew Springer (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the USports Men's Curling Championship, Ryan take home 4.538 world rankings points, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 98th place overall with 65.306 total points. Ryan ranks 302nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.538 points earned so far this season.
