Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) lost 4-3 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Tim Hortons Brier, held March 2 - 10, 2019 in Brandon, Manitoba. To advance to the championship game, Bottcher won 5-4 over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON) in the semifinals of the 2019 Tim Hortons Brier in Brandon, Manitoba;
 
Bottcher finished 8-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bottcher lost 10-2 to Jacobs, then responded with a 14-4 win over John Likely (Charlottetown, PEI). Bottcher won 9-8 against Mike McEwen (West St. Paul, MB), then won 10-5 against Andrew Symonds (St. John's, NL) and 10-3 against Jon Solberg (Whitehorse, YK). Bottcher won 10-4 against Martin Crete (Levis, QC), then won 8-2 against Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK). Bottcher went on to lose 7-6 against Koe. Bottcher responded with a 8-3 win over Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC). Bottcher won 6-4 against Scott McDonald (Kingston, ON). Bottcher went on to lose 8-5 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Tim Hortons Brier, Bottcher take home 55.019 world rankings points.
