Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) won 10-4 over Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) in the Final of the Stockholm Ladies Curling Cup, held October 5 - 7, 2018 at the Danderyds Curling AB in Danderyd, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Hasselborg won 6-4 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2018 Stockholm Ladies Curling Cup in Danderyd, Sweden, Sweden; and won 10-1 over Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE) in the quarterfinals.
Hasselborg finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hasselborg defeated Kubeskova 5-4, then won 9-3 against Li Jun Zhang (Beijing, CHN) and 7-1 against Elena Stern (Oberwallis , SUI). Hasselborg won 8-1 against Veronica Zappone (Trentino, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Stockholm Ladies Curling Cup Championship title, Hasselborg earned 53.410 world rankings points along with the $15,835CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 7.5069999999999 after improving upon their best so far this season. Hasselborg ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 169.175 points earned so far this season.
