Calvert went on to lose 6-2 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Calvert lost 6-4 to Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) where Calvert responded with a 8-5 win over Charley Thomas (Toronto, ON). Calvert won 6-5 against Kirk Muyres (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Calvert earned 27.750 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canad Inns Men's Classic.
