Koana won 8-7 against Allison Flaxey (Winnipeg, MB), then won 5-1 against Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon, SK) and 9-3 against Seina Nakajima (Nagano, JPN). Koana went on to lose 6-3 against Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN). Koana responded with a 7-5 win over Lauren Horton (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Koana earned 30.438 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canad Inns Women's Classic.
